Trailer & first look poster of Allu Sirish’s next film, Buddy, released

The First look poster and an action-packed trailer of director Sam Anton’s Telegu fantasy action movie, Buddy, was released yesterday on 30th of May.

The film, which stars actor Allu Sirish, the brother of the leading South Indian movie star, Allu Arjun, is said to be a remake of the 2021 Tamil action movie, Teddy.

Interestingly, 30th May was also the birthday of Allu Sirish, and there could not be a better occasion than this for the entire team for the release of the trailer and poster of the upcoming film. Allu Sirish also shared the first look poster of the film on his social media profiles.

The intense trailer portrays Teddy as someone wanted by criminals and Allu Sirish to be his companion. The goons apparently declare a hefty cash reward for anyone who finds Teddy, and they pounce on him as soon as they find him travelling by metro.

Allu Arjun comes to the rescue of Teddy, whom he is seen referring to as Buddy, with some dramatic bright light effects, halos and glares. A lot of wire-pulling action follows.

At one point of time, the thugs are apparently stunned by the resistance put up by these two and calls for reinforcements.

The theatre-shaking action ultimately reaches the climax with the unusual duo unleashing a barrage of fire power on the goons.

A simple look at the poster and people are bound to draw similarities between this upcoming Telegu action movie and the 2021-released Tamil film which also had an almost similar name, Teddy.

Maybe that’s the reason, the film’s director and writer, Sam Anton, released the trailer with the hashtag, “NotARemake”.

This is strange considering that the director of the movie himself knows that people are going to compare his movie with the Tamil film.
