Day 2: October 4, 2024 - Brahmacharini's Blessings
On the second day, devotees worship Goddess Brahmacharini, the embodiment of love and peace. Chandra Darshana is performed, and green is worn to symbolise growth and renewal.
Day 3: October 5, 2024 - Courage of Chandraghanta
Day three is dedicated to Goddess Chandraghanta, known for bravery. Sindoor Tritiya is observed to symbolise marital strength. Grey, the colour of calmness and balance, is worn today.
Day 4: October 6, 2024 - Vinayaka Chaturthi & Kushmanda
Day four coincides with Vinayaka Chaturthi, where prayers are offered to Lord Ganesha. Devotees also worship Goddess Kushmanda, wearing orange for enthusiasm and warmth.
Day 5: October 7, 2024 - Skandamata's Purity
On this day, devotees worship Skandamata, the mother of Skanda (Lord Murugan). White is worn, symbolising purity and devotion to enhance Skandamata's blessings.
Day 6: October 8, 2024 - Katyayani's Power
The sixth day celebrates Goddess Katyayani, the embodiment of power and courage. Devotees wear red, symbolising vitality and strength, to seek her blessings.
Day 7: October 9, 2024 - Fierce Kaalratri
On the seventh day, Goddess Kaalratri, the fierce destroyer of negativity, is worshipped. Royal blue is worn, representing peace and strength amid her powerful energy.
Day 8: October 10, 2024 - Durga Ashtami & Mahagauri
Durga Ashtami is one of the most significant days, with worship dedicated to Mahagauri. Pink, symbolising love and compassion, is worn to reflect her gentle nature.
Day 9: October 11, 2024 - Navami & Siddhidatri's Blessings
On the final day, Goddess Siddhidatri is revered, bestowing supernatural powers on devotees. Purple, representing luxury and grandeur, is worn for spiritual strength.
