This 40-minute short documentary film portrays Raghu, an orphaned young elephant, and his keepers, a Mahout pair named Bomman and Bellie, who dedicate themselves to protecting him from hunters and nurturing him.
Kartiki Gonsalves who is a successful Wildlife and Social Documentary photographer, photojournalist, and cinematographer, left her career behind to debut as a director in ‘The Elephant Whisperers’.
The Producer Guneet Monga who recently got married to Sunny Kapoor wanted to just abandon her honeymoon and run to LA when she got to know about her Oscar Nomination. It just says how much love and care was put into creating this 40 Minute long Masterpiece.
Monga has also won the award for best Documentary Short Film in 2019 for the Film ‘Period. End of Sentence’ where she was the executive producer.
