Alia Bhatt's Dreamy Wedding: A Visual Journey Through the Actress' Big Day

While it was initially reported that Ranbir and Alia would marry at the family's ancestral home behind RK Studios, where his cousin sister Karisma Kapoor married, it was then announced that their intimate wedding will take place at Vastu in Pali Hill, where Ranbir and Alia live. Vastu was a fortress, with Mumbai police on standby with Yusuf Ibrahim, Sunny Leone, and Alia Bhatt's bodyguard in charge of security. Furthermore, no one involved in the wedding preparations disclosed any information.

On April 13th, the afternoon mehndi was traditional, replete with family performances, female dhol players, and a dholki crew to keep everyone moving. Rajendra Singh, popularly known as Rajendra Masterji, choreographed the weddings of almost all well-known celebrities, including Aishwarya Rai-Abhishek Bachchan, Karishma Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor, and Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja.

Alia looked stunning in a bright pink lehenga with multi-hued flower embroidery accented by genuine gold zari for the mehndi, which was decked with suspended floral installations. This dress was customised for Alia and included symbolic details that were essential to her journey. It was made from a variety of fabrics with patches that were sewed together.

Alia kept her makeup simple, opting for a toned, minimal look, but her jewellery, which comprised an intricate necklace and Maang tikka, made a strong statement with Kundan work and emerald dropstones. She also wore lovely flower bracelets around her wrists.

Ranbir was dressed in a pink kurta combo with a matching Nehru jacket. A watch belonging to his father, Rishi Kapoor, completed his appearance.

The wedding, which had a rustic enchanted forest theme, was a lovely one lighted up by fairy lights and enhanced by lush green vegetation that offered a splash of colour.

Alia donned a hand-dyed white sari with elaborate embroidered work to the wedding. A magnificent diamond-studded choker necklace with drop pearls, an intricate mathapatti, bangles, and matching jhumkas completed her look.

Ranbir complemented Alia's outfit by wearing an intricately embroidered sherwani with jewel buttons and a zari maori embroidery shawl. A matching safa, a kilangi made of diamonds, precious stones, and pearls, and a magnificent honeynet pearl necklace completed his appearance. The wedding was a wonderful family event, full of joyous moments as the couple exchanged varmalas.
